Washington, DC boating marinas and yacht harbors 

The Potomac and Anacostia rivers are home to the marinas, boathouses and yacht clubs of Washington, DC.

Many offer docking, storage and repair of boats of all sizes. Others offer pleasure boat, sail boat, canoe, kayak, and personal watercraft rentals. Pump outs, fuel, fishing tackle, bait and marine supplies are usually available as well.

Marina facilities include fixed and floating docks that can accommodate vessels up to 220 feet in length. Full utilities are available for all slips. There is also a floating dinghy dock.

The marina has over 300 slips with pump outs, power, cable, etc. It is situated in the protected Washington Channel off the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers.

James Creek Marina has 297 slips and transient dockage. Meeco floating docks with 30A-125V and 50A-250V shore power, and a fuel dock (gas, diesel, oil and pumpout) combine with gated entryways and ample parking to satisfy boat owners.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Access to public transportation is nearby. Liveaboards are not permitted.
